I was watching TV and saw a very hard-hitting commercial against cigarette smoking. You see a kid pours a bowl full of some kind of chemical and claims that smoking is more stupid than eating a bowl full of chemicals. Then their website was briefly flashed "stupid.ca". Ok, at first I was agreeing with their message objective, because I do believe that smoking is in fact very bad for your health (there are at least 50 cancer causing chemicals inside a cigarrette as the website claims). So when I go onto the website I see something very different. You just see a bunch of teenagers with that "trying to be cool" act. The website was in fact all about being rebellious and being the typical cool teen that goes to the punk rock shows and probably smokes pot. Ridiculous. Personally, as much as I'd like to go against smoking, I see these organizations as a ploy that uses smoking as a tool to rebel against, while simultaneously promoting other things that only the media may have something to gain from. For crying out loud, the message that I got was more along the lines of "yeah, if you wanna be cool, you go to these punk rock shows and you dress like a skateboarder and wear baggy boarder pants and these skater shoes." It did not make me want to quit smoking (I forgot to mention that I am a smoker trying to quit), it just made me feel like I just wasn't cool enough, cause I don't sakteboard and listen to punk bands. This is the gut feeling I got. My gut feeling is that these so called "anti-smoking" organizations are using these ploys against something that can be targeted easily and critisized easily, which are the tobacco companies, so that other so called "fads" can be brought back to life. Obviously, I smoke now and quitting soon, but I do not condone smoking AT ALL. I understand it's ill effects and it only makes sense that these foreign chemicals get into your lungs to the very small cell to cause damage. However, I do NOT agree with organizations critisizing tobacco companies, while they have no real intent to stop the youth from smoking. But thier only real intent is to market their youth/teen culture so that we'll all start buying skatebooards and take up snowboarding and listen to punk rock. It's sad, but this is what brainwashing has become. Brainwashing does not come in the form that we think it comes in, like where you see this very comforming looking gentleman with a clean suit on. And why isn't there anything against pot smoking, meth, cocaine, shroom. Isn't it alot more destructive to destroy ones soul and spirit, than the body?,because isn't that what drugs like these do? The only problem is, people now think religion is old and that destoying the mind is "part of society". Pretty sad, but I still know alot of older people in their late 20's that still think it's "cool" to smoke pot, even though they don't directly say it like that, you can still see through them. I say that if there are any "real" organizations against all this, I'd piss my pants if I saw them be brave enough to stand up against the "real" power which is this ongoing drug use among teens and adults. People have to realize, as I heard Colin Powell say, that he cannot understand how these youngsters will use drugs to destroy their minds and spirit, the very one most important eternal gift that God has given us. If your an Atheist or some other sort of religion other than the one that involves God and Jesus than fuck off and go blow yourselves like Marylin Manson does. But if not then thanks for reading.

E Waste (A growing problem)

So what happens to all the old cell phones and computer monitors that get thrown out. E-waste is a growing problem growing exponentially. So where does all that go? Currently they are trying to pass legislation that will require manufacturers to collect or pay for all the accumulating e-waste. I say we should require them not only to collect it but recycle it and reuse it. I think in Maryland they have a company that recycles all this waste and makes sure that every bit and part is reused. I always wondered WHERE all the garbage we throw out goes. If the dump sites are just filling up , then eventually it'll get to the point where there is no room for junk. What happens then? Do we just toss it off into space?

So What Attracts Women?

That is the one question I guess is in every man's mind. I've been reading up a bit from this guy who seems to know everything about "How to attract women." To all the women, you gotta read this stuff and tell me what you think (http://www.sosuave.com). Well, from all the information I had gathered from all this and I came to some conclusions. That is women have animal instincts that they CANNOT control. The bottom line is that they are biologically "wired" to respond or let's say attracted to someone if the guy pulls the right strings. If you could see right through them and get to that part they cannot really do anything but "fall" for the guy. I'm not sure if I should believe everything, plus this was some stuff I read up on in the internet and this guy is trying to market his books and DVD's, so I'm not sure if it would be reliable information. However, it does make sense. I guess its also obvious that beautiful women are not attracted to "wussies", and they are well equipped with the "wussydar". Also if you are too clingy and needy, you either get the dominant controlling woman, or most beautiful women won't find you attractive. It's funny how men are the ones looking for a woman and doing the chasing. When you see all the documentaries on animal behavior and instincts, it's usually the female that chooses the male to mate with. I think that as humans we have logic and sense, but in the end we are all biologically wired to act in certain ways to either attract or be attractive to the opposite sex. So for women, they have an animal side to them that they cannot control. Once that guy hits those emotional strings for attraction, they cannot help but be attracted to them. I also learned that once a guy shows even a bit of desperation, it's all over. I'm not talking about the unattractive girls, I'm talking about the pretty, intelligent and hot ones. These are the women that EVERY guy looks at, wants and chases. These are the ones that have some sort of magnetism about them, and you just cannot seem to pin point it. For this very reason it only makes sense that these women would and have the right to choose the best and only the best. So if your the guy and you show some unattractive character traits, such as "wussiness", desperation, clingyness, indecisiveness, unconfidence, then its all over. You have to be the guy that is different and sets you apart from all the rest. Also, you can't be too cocky and self absorbed. You can be cocky and funny, but you cannot be just cocky and full of yourself. I also find that you have to say the right things at the right time. And you cannot think too much about it, you just do it. If you think too much you get all uptight and worried so again if this happens you might as well call it off and move out for the moment. Then I always hear the usual mumble jumble. People, even other women will tell you "if your a really nice guy, and you treat the women nice, and pretty much be an ass kisser, then you should have no problem in getting a girl. " This is all a load of crap I think. I think this only works if the woman is either going to to se you or that they are not really the pretty and intelligent ones. The bottom line is this. If you are looking for that really attractive women that every man wants, you have to treat these attractive women like they are let's say "that nerdy girl" that always had a crush on you. In other words, you cannot treat them too special, because if you do, then your just like any other guy. If you don't, then that will throw them off and that creates tension, which is good.

Or at least live in a part of Canada where guns are not literally everywhere. Of course violence IS on the rise inToronto. So far there has been a string of shootings, mostly retaliation battles between drug gangs. And of course the guns come from the States, and smuggled in. I obviously do not think the violence is a good thing or that in anyway it is better than the states, because killing is killing. However, in the States all I hear about is this that and this. First there is that whole social security scare (identity theft). Then there is Michael Moore's documentary about guns in the States and how it is so readily available there. All I hear about is bad reputation within the States. Well, I live close to Toronto, not in it, so I feel lucky to be away from all the gun violence. Innocent bystanders are victims here as well, which is the sad fact that must be dealt with by us as a community, even myself.
I remember, when I went to Florida in the States and I was a kid going with my family and friends of family. We stopped at this grocery store and all I could see were guns, guns, guns. There were these troopers standing in the front of the supermarket with their big ass rifles glaring right to us. It was all there for everyone to see. I was wondering, what if, what if what if. I mean, maybe I was a bit paranoid, but I was thinking, what if one of these guys just totally "lost it" right here and right now and started blasting away at everyone. I mean what's there to keep their sanity. I remember wanting to get the heck out of there. I was literally shaken, cause you never know. These guys holding guns, why were they there? Are they really cops? They didn't like like it to me, or maybe they are. It was really kinda of scary bit for me there. I just remember being a bit relieved as we drove off. Maybe it is really time to stop all this violence in our town as well. We are almost become like the states in terms of gun control if we don't do anything about it. The accessibility of guns is so easy in the States. Let's not make it so accessible here.

I am just remembering one time when I was having a talk with someone and they mentioned something along the lines of "animals are on the same level as humans." In my opinion, it is a clouded statement that only satisfies their ego. Sometimes I can't believe how dumb this society has made people. Like the person who had said this, their minds have become clouded by what is on television, the media. These are the very people who say that everyone else is brainwashed but themselves, yet they are the ones who are gathering up all these things and throwing out at people to maim them. How can someone say that humans are on the same level as animals, and what was funny and almost made me laugh so hard was that the person was eating meat while saying this exact thing. So that means that you can go out and kill humans? to eat them? Are you suggesting cannibalism, you fool. From the beginning, from the bible it says that God had made animals for human consumption. That is the fact. That is very scary when they had said this while eating meat, because that literally conveyed to me that they believed in killing humans and eating them. For crying out loud this is the same person that indulges in pork, beef and all kinds of meat. A lot of people think it is full of crap and is just a well marketed drink that otherwise is just full of "cat piss". Well, I decided to try this thing out for myself and call me stupid or whatever for spending $7 on this drink while people are starving in Africa. I don't really feel that much more awake. Wait, I do feel more alert and awake. I've had two cans of this shit and my perhaps "perceived alertness" is one of two things: either it's a placebo effect or there is enough caffeine in it to perk up lazy ass idiots like me.

Karla Homolka set free today

For those that don't live in Canada, you may not know too much about the story I am about to talk about. Those in the US may know, because I saw it aired on CNN. Anyways, for those living in Canada, I know you've heard this before, and sick of it but please bear with me. For those who don't know the horrific crimes these two killers have committed, please visit www.crimelibrary.com. You may not want to read the whole thing, because it really is very disturbing. So please read at your own discretion.

I was driving today at about 4 pm and then i hear the news. Karla Homolka is free after 12 years in jail for helping in the rape and murder of 3 teenage girls, including her own sister. I can't believe that because of someone's (Karla's lawyer) own selfish gains, a psychopath is on the loose. I also cannot believe it when people want to brush this whole thing aside. Like I hear people say "I'm sick of hearing about Karla Homolka on the news, and I don't ever want to hear about her again." What i mean is, part of the media's job is to inform the public about her whereabouts so that the people know where she is cause obviously you don't want your children playing around where a psychopath is lurking. It is only a matter of time before she hooks up with another Paul Bernardo and starts killing again, because in reality a psychopath is a physcopath. Yes everyone A KILLER IS ON THE LOOSE.

Well, the lawyer supposedly hid the rape tapes that Paul Barnardo and Karla Holmolka made showing them raping and torturing the girls they killed. These tapes were hidden while the defense was coming up with a load of crap saying "yeah, she was a defenseless woman who was suffering at the hands of Paul Bernardo and was suffering a battered wife sydrome". Of course that is just a flock of disgusting lies by the defense. So before the jury could see these tapes, Karla had a chance to testify against Paul Bernardo and therefore walk away after 12 years in jail. So yes, the jury decided to let her free, because they still hadn't seen those horrid tapes, which if they had seen them, the judgement would have been life just like Paul Bernardo. It is really sick. Whoever the defense lawyer was is also just as sick and should be put in jail since he seems to have no sympathy or feelings towards the victim's families, but only wants his own selfish gains. SICK SICK SICK. I can't believe there are sick people like that. Not only that, Karla Homolka while behind bars was said to write love letters together with another psychotic sex offender/murderer and even gave him her underpants. That just shows that she has a liking for phsycotic killers like herself.

Another SHOCKING story I heard was Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo's wedding. It was about a week after they had drugged Karla's own sister Tammy Homolka, raped her and killed her after she choked on her own vomit. It was unbelievable, the two were just smiling, really happy no sense of sorrow, just having the time of thier life. AND another shocking thing. Karla Homolka complained to her parents listen to this SHE COMPLAINS TO HER PARENTS FOR SPENDING MORE MONEY ON HER SISTER'S FUNERAL THAN HER WEDDING WITH PAUL BERNARDO.

And to think that someone like that is on the streets is really scary. Also note that she seems to show no remorse whatsoever. That is the BIG THING. LISTEN TO THIS NO REMORSE. Does this sound like remorse to you? She appealed so that she can eliminate restrictions on her after she is released. She still doesn't give a damn about anyone but herself, which are definite signs of a psychopath. The question was whether she was a psychopath, and if so, then she should stay in jail or be locked up forever. This has really become a scary place to live.

I know people are sick and tired of hearing about this, but we have to be aware, for our own safety that people like that are being released back into society. The justice department is seriously flawed if this is the case. Every single time I listen to the news, I hear another child was sexually assualted and/or murdered. That is because people like that are being let out. The people responsible for this (Karla's lawyer) has also committed a great crime, but have done so in a situation where they are able to get away with it. My stand is we should be doing something about this crap. Lawyers like Karla Homolka's lawyer are just as responsible for the terrible crimes committed by these two killers.

Stem Cells, a Moral Issue?

The main cover of the last National Geographic was Stem Cells. With a enlarged picture of perhaps a "stem cell" on the opening of a minute test pipe. As everyone knows, this is a major medical breakthrough. Also as everyone knows, stem cell research may also have many moral and ethical issues. Is it immoral to take a an embryo and stop its development into a full being? The question is, should these embryos be treated as as if they are human beings? If they are in fact human beings, but on a much smaller physical scale, it is immoral. As stated by National Geographic Magazine (2005), "Proponents say it's immoral not to use embryos to save lives while opponents warn of a brave new world of 'embryo farms'". Some argue that these are not beings, and that they are smaller than the period at the end of this sentence.

But then again, there is the other side to this issue. With stem cells, we can save a life. This may be a huge breakthrough that may cure almost anything. Cancer may become the next flu. If this is the case, maybe this type of breakthrough should be encouraged.

Are we the Second Dinosaurs?

A question came to me today. It may be a bit extreme, but the question is "are we going to become the next dinosaurs?" forced to extinction because of our greed and lust for power. Of course the dinosaurs didn't create their own extinction, which brings us to the this strange irony that this time we may become our own destruction. This is obviously not new, as many people have been bringing this up. Maybe as in the the book of Revelations in the Bible, doomsday is soon approaching us. You know there are nuclear weapons of MASS destruction, yes "mass" destruction are in existence and it only takes one idiot to detonate it with enough force to demolish all living life.

Yeah, maybe soon enough the next "living beings" will come into existence and like we have and soon enough begin to study us "humans". They'll say "Yes, those humans were intelligent, yet they had too much lust for power and more power that it eventually destroyed them." Yep our skeletons may be in museums soon. Just a crazy "Hollywoodish" thought haha.

Some real climate changes

I was watching CNN yesterday, and I don't believe everything that they say. However, they did talk about something very important, and that is climate change. Can you believe it, there are people moving out of thier own homes in America, because thier waters are so pollluted. They say that its already too late, and alot of damage has already been done to the environment. The only thing we CAN do now is to prevent from getting bad to worse. Can you believe that? it is already too late to change the damage we've inlficted on this planet? I truly believe, not because the news says, but because of what I experience as an everyday citizen. I'm in Toronto, and there are smog alerts almost relentlessly in the summer. There was a helicopter hovering above the city and you could SEE the cloud of smog.

I also hear the alot of countries are just becoming way too greedy with this whole power issue. China is becoming a huge industry in itself, and it seems like they won't let anything get in the way of becoming the worlds next super power. Just creating more factories and trying to expand into north america without any regard to the environment and the long term affects of pollution. Walmart is supporting this whole takeover one way or the other and buying things dirt cheap from China. And do they care about saving the environment? No way, these guys just want power and money while more than a hundred people will die this year do to pollution. Cna you believe that as well? The news station says this matter of factly "oh yeah and by the way a hundred people will die this year due to pollution". Gosh don't you SEE IT?

Fuck when will people begin to realize that all the money in the world will not be able to save the planet earth. Once it gets to a certain point, it will be too late and no money or power will ever be able to do anything.

It is truly amazing how blind these big corporations get and the people who shop at Walmart and other huge pollution inducing corporations are to blame as well. That is why I posted the "Don't shop and Walmart". At least the people can make the difference. MAKE THE DIFFERENCE STOP SUPPORTING THESE BIG CORPORATIONS, IT IS UP TO THE PEOPLE, IT IS UP TO YOU PEOPLE, NO ONE ELSE CAN MAKE THAT DIFFERENCE. What's going on with the environment? Is it true that we are headed for an environmental distaster and we don't even know it? Take global warming for example. The ice caps are melting and yet the states are concerned about oil. Where is all the garbage going? Aren't we running out of resources like land? Another thing, what happens when gasoline resource is all used up? Have you noticed the gas prices are constantly rising and never will go back down? What does that mean? These are all issues we should be aware of. What do you think?
